Tim Britton, owner and VP / Sales & Marketing of Clearfield Metal Technologies, started in powder metal over 30 years ago as a mold operator, and only intended it to be temporary. Over time, metal continued running through his veins and he developed a passion for not only the PM process, but for manufacturing in general. Learning the business from the ground up, while raising a family and going back to college to finish his BS and MBA in Business, all led him to wanting to do this on his own, and to create a family based, oriented culture where people came first.
Starting with an idea in 2011, and good faithful people willing to take a chance, Clearfield Metal Technologies was born. With hard work, great people, and most importantly, strength and blessings from God Almighty, Clearfield continues to grow and become more recognized as a dependable supplier to our customers. What an awesome journey! Truth be told, his wife and best friend pushed him off the “cliff of uncertainty” to start this great adventure! Thanks Terri!
