ENGINEERING MANAGER
Chris Britton is the Engineering Manager for Clearfield Metal Technologies. He brings, with him, over ten years of powdered metal experience and a Bachelor’s of Science of Mechanical Engineering from Penn State Erie, the Behrend College. Chris specializes in manufacturing and strives to provide our team the means necessary to provide the best service, lead time, and quality to our customers.
He has been involved with Clearfield Metal Technologies since its inception. He has done everything from cleaning, operating, inspection, tool design, and manufacturing engineering in his tenure here. One of the biggest lessons learned from his experience here is, “respect is not given, expected, or deserved. It is earned.” Between being the only engineer at 23 years old, the owner’s son, and no prior engineering experience, he has had to prove himself along every step.
Chris enjoys hiking, fishing, snowboarding, golfing, and everything outdoors. Music is a passion of his and he can play a number of instruments. He can also be frequently heard singing at the local church, his car, and his shower.
