COMPANY PRESIDENT / OWNER
Jim Killian is the President of Clearfield Metal Technologies. Originally from Johnstown, Pennsylvania, he attended the University of Pittsburgh where he earned a BS in Electrical Engineering. He began his career in the US Air Force as a computer engineer, then later entered Air Force pilot training where he became a flight instructor and evaluator pilot flying the KC-10 Extender aircraft. Over a 28-year military career, he logged over 6,000 flight hours on active duty and reserve operational and combat missions worldwide. Jim also is a pilot for United Airlines, where he is currently a Captain on the Boeing 777 aircraft flying domestic and international routes. He also holds a MS degree from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Aviation Operations and Management. He also completed Air Force Squadron Officer School and Air Command and Staff College.

Jim enjoys family, our dogs, boating and fishing, working on cars, and playing music.
